Had BBQ with the gang at my house before new years. The plan was, BBQ in the eve, drinking session at night, and football in the wee hours of the morning. Yeah. So in conclusion, not supposed to sleep.

Asked Zhi to bring her PS2 over so that we could play the football game on it. And she brought the liquor also. Since she managed to get it duty free at the Singapore airport.

Oh ya, also celebrated Zhi's birthday. A few days early... but that's when everyone's still around. :)

Watched football until 6 something. After that, we all went out to eat dim sum. Then only everyone went home and crashed for the day. :)

Soo Lim's birthday

Celebrated Soo Lim’s birthday at 1919. We went there for lunch. It was originally supposed to be at Brewsters, but it wasn’t open that day. And we tried a whole lot of other places, but they also weren’t available. So we settled on 1919. Ate, talked, sang birthday song... the normal procedure. :)

Genting

I didn’t really get up to much back in Ipoh. Mostly sleeping, eating and watching tv. But that’s what holidays are for right? Of course, I did meet up with some people over the holidays but unfortunately I managed to meet a few. The only people that I saw consistently were my family and my girlfriend. Haha… There weren’t many trips planned for this holiday. Actually, there was only one trip, up to Genting to commemorate a friend’s 21st birthday. He can finally enter the casino after being turned away all these years.

I drove the MPV up to Genting. There were a total of 7 people. It was just a day trip. And so, we all fit into the MPV just nice. The tol and petrol costs were split evenly, and it was pretty okay since it was split among so many people.
Left in the morning after breakfast at McDs. Went to the casino, hung about cam-whoring, yum cha session at Starbucks and finally, before we left Genting, 4 of them decided to ride the Superman ride at the theme park. Actually, it’s outside the theme park. And since it was pretty late and the theme park was crowded since morning, it’s just not worth it to pay the full amount to enter the theme park. So we settled for Superman, which was located outside the theme park. Picture time!

After the ride we headed back to Ipoh. Had dinner to celebrate with the birthday boy and then went back to my house to play gin rummy. But we also surprised KC with a cake. Haha…

All in all, it is a pretty good day. ☺

Lok Kawi

Took Zhi to Lok Kawi which is actually a zoo. Only 3 of us went this time. Me, Zhi and pf. If I'm not mistaken, the rest were busy with classes again. Which is why they chose not to join us. None of us knew where the zoo was. I only had my friend's directions to rely on. And as we were driving, we realised that the gas was running out. And distances between locations in Sabah are no joke okay. And there were no petrol stations to be seen. Also, we were getting worried because the signs were a teeny bit confusing. Finally, we saw a sign stating that we should take a right turn at a particular traffic light to get to the zoo. So we turned, and luckily, there was a gas station. So, we filled the car up, and of we went again. However, the further we drove, the more we felt like it wasn't the right direction. Then pf mentioned that she had seen another Lok Kawi sign as we were turning at the traffic light. This other sign, on the other hand, said to drive straight pass the traffic light without turning. See... Confusing or not? So we U-turned. And followed the other sign. Which turned out to be the right one. So we arrived at the Zoo safe and sound. ;)

The zoo is much smaller than any of the other zoos in Msia that I've been to. But the place is cleaner, the animals are more active and the enclosures have better designs. And when I say the animals were active, they really were.

Elephants wrestling. But before this shot, we actually saw the elephant's *ahem*. I tried to take a picture of it. But I was too slow. Hehe..

And this tiger was eating those bamboo leaves! Cool huh?

Well, spent most of the time there camwhoring and watching the animals. I think we saw 3 or 4 different animals pee in front of us. We saw a total of 2 *ahem ahem*, different species. There was a sunbear that we saw when we first arrived that wouldn't stop pacing in the enclosure. He'd walk a meter or two and turn around and repeat the whole process. We watched to see how long before he stopped. But we got bored and moved on. After we were done seeing all the other animals and were heading back, we popped by to see if it was still pacing. AND IT WAS. Dude! That fella a lot of stamina man. Haha. The animals were seriously damn amusing. And my gf wouldn't leave til she's dragged us to see every single animal enclosure. But at least we saw everything. Haha

Mamutik & Manukan '09

I went to Mamutik and Manukan with my girlfriend, pf, hf & Serena last November. I thought of bringing my girlfriend there because she hasn't been there before. We had breakfast at McD and went to Mamutik. Water wasn't as clear as last time. I think it's because it was the monsoon season. We went snorkeling, played with the sand and snorkelled somemore. After that we hopped onto the boat and headed to Manukan. Nothing much to it. This will be a picture post. :)

Semester break

Whoooo.... I would like to take this opportunity to apologise for not updating my blog. LOL . There were so many places I went during the last semester break. I have been busy meeting up with my friends and sorry for not meeting up with some of you. I wanted to but I really don’t have time as most of the time, I have to be the driver for my sister. She has been very active in her dancing and to be honest, I’m so proud to be her brother but I hope she can manage her time wisely. I have been travelling to KL, Peneng, Genting and other places so frequently. Besides that, I think I overspent also. I got a new laptop from my mum, shades from my girlfriend and her mum and New Year clothes. LOL. I feel guilty now but it is not my fault. I did not request anything at all but somehow I got all these. Anyway thank you to all my friends for the wonderful time that we spent during the break and thank you to my mum, zhi and her mum for the Christmas present.

I know I have not been updating my blog for a month. Actually I forgot that I have a blog but that is not the reason I did not update it. It has been a very busy semester for me. There are so many assignments and exams until i could barely rest. You might think that I am exaggerating but I still have 5 assignments and another exam next week. I have research proposal which I need to hand in on 19th, Mechanical design assignment this Friday, Management and accounting assignment this coming Monday, Manufacturing assignment and Mechanical Design exam next Friday, Experimental Design assignment and also a presentation. Sigh. I really couldn't take all these anymore and in addition to that, I have lots of lazy lecturer this semester. I think I should make a poll for my course mates to vote who is the laziest lecturer. I think the award will most probably or I should say definitely goes to our "BELOVED" Electrical Machinery and Measurement lecturer. They have been canceling the class for a month and I wonder are they still alive until yesterday. Finally the Electrical Machinery lecturer came to class and browse through the entire syllabus that he missed. As for the measurement lecturer, I think she is still raya-ing. Argh. How can lecturers be so fucking lazy? Who we are today is really thanks to all these idiots and their existence is a shame/disgrace to their community and profession. Lazy pigs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was very moody and annoyed with my parents for the past few weeks. I was so disappointed with them. There are so many things that I don't understand even until now. I have been through many things before and I’m glad that I still can survive until now but sometimes I just regret to be here. I know I shouldn't say this but there are too many things that can really stress me out. First of all, my parents, then my studies and of course many more. I think I can really go crazy if things are to be like that. Anyway my parents lost my dog and of course I know they have to work and bla bla bla so no time to look after my dog. My dog "girl girl" is no longer at home now. Nothing much I can do but I just wish that some kind soul will just take good care of her. Honestly I was very sad and angry when I heard this and I was getting more annoyed when my dad said no need to report everything to me when my sister called me. Guess what! This was what she said, your dog "girl girl" already ran away. Then hang up my phone. WTF!!!!!!!! And as usual my dad will side her. So now I will put an end to all these shits, attention to my fellow friends in Ipoh, I won't be going back this semester break even though I have bought the air ticket. The best conversation was with my mum; my mum said I was just being jealous towards my sister. Fine!!!!!!!!! Most likely I will be going back during CNY and after that I won't be coming back anymore until I graduate. God, please grant me strength to STAY here. I don't want them to take these jokingly.

Today I went to this place called Elvision to celebrate Huey Yi's belated birthday. Basically the environment and the set up is very nice and classy but the services was extremely bad. When we reached there, nobody served us and that really made us looks like some idiots. They can't even take down orders properly. OMG. Then when the food came, the waiter gave us fork and spoon for our chicken chop and etc. This is bullshit!!!!!!!!!!!! Pui Foong's food was not served at all and when I told the waiter there are one more dish is not out yet, he dared to tell me it was actually out of order. Holy shit. They don't even know how to tell you the food is not available anymore and just let it be. This is just so bad. At first, I thought of bringing my girlfriend to try at this place but now, definitely I will bring her to mamat rather than bringing her here. The waiter at mamat stall can serve us much better than those waiters at this place. Definitely a 'NO' to this place.

Does good news usually come with a bad news? Every one of us will be sitting for another midterm for Mechanical Design subject as most of us did very badly. On the other side, I was very happy when I heard this news because I’m quite sure I did very badly also but this means that I have to study again and I have midterm on Measurement next week. This subject sucks terribly; the lecturer is so fucking lazy. When I say lazy it is really damn lazy. She can cancel the class just because of the following few stupid reasons:-

a) I cut my finger today.

b) There is no projector slide in the room.

c) First week of puasa.

All these silly and dumb fuck reasons really sent us speechless. The worse part is i don't even know what to study for the midterm. Again it is going to be another stressful and moody week for me. Puan Dayang, take this mlm....

Finally I got my Arsenal jersey and also the training jersey from Zhimin. yesterday. Now I have 3 Arsenal jerseys. Hurray!!!!!!!! You must be wondering why I asked Zhimin to buy on my behalf. Haha. The reason is just very simple. She is more willing to spend than me. Trust me; she is very happy to do this for me. She has been complaining that I always wear the same attire. Hey, is not that I don’t have other attires, is just that so happen every time I choose the same one. Cis….Anyway I will hesitate to get the jersey if I buy myself but the problem is I like it so much and these 2 jerseys cost me about RM500.00 and now I have to be very thrifty. Sigh.. The consequences of overspending.

Life and exams.

School is resuming as usual tomorrow. I wish I could have another week of holidays. I have been doing nothing except enjoying myself for the past few days. There will be 3 midterms this coming week and I am still in the process of finishing the syllabus. This is so not cool!!!! I used to be so well prepared for every single exam but this doesn't apply to me anymore especially this semester. “If you want to get good result, you should study hard" This is bullshit. No matter how much effort I put in my studies, I still did badly and this is very saddening. It happens to me all the time and this time I have decided to just browse through all the notes and take these coming exams easily. An exam is just a process where the outcome is not that important. Why are we afraid of exams? We are scared because we want to get good result so that people will praise you. Basically the best word to describe this is 'Kiasu'. Instead of competing with each other, compete with yourself. Life is not all about studies, it is about how you live your life. The choice is in your hands and I wish every one of you the best of luck if you have exams anytime soon.

'girl girl' and 'Mini'

OMG. My girlfriend sent me a photo just now and guess what. It is my dogs. Sigh. My mum has botakfied my dogs. Poor dogs. I miss them so much. They look so alike now and they are just so adorable. The dog at the left side is my first dog and her name is 'girl girl' and the right side is 'Mini'. I have wanted a dog since young but my parents didn't let me to own one because I used to have severe asthma. Recently my asthma came back and luckily it is just a mild one. Then all of a sudden, my mum bought me a Shih Tzu and I was so damn happy . I treated the dog just like my own family and girl girl has been very good and obedient also. She knows a lot such as sit on the chair and watch movie. Even though it sounds funny but it is true. Girl girl loves to watch movies. While Mini is the evil side of girl girl. Mini always disturbs girl girl and loves to run all over the house and not forgetting that she loves to bite shoes also. LOL. I named the first dog as ‘girl girl’ because my mum wanted it and for your information, my dad calls my younger sister as ‘girl’ also. That is why sometimes when my dad calls ‘girl’, my sister and the dog will come to look for my dad also. Cool right. Kill 2 birds with 1 stone. Haha. The second dog call ‘Mini’ because my girlfriend has a beagle call cooper and she loves Mini Cooper so much until I have to name the dog as ‘Mini’.

Ais kacang

Have you heard of Tanjung Aru at Kota Kinabalu? I was told by my Sabah friends that there is a food court at this place where they serve cheap and delicious ais kacang and fruit drinks.Actually Tanjung Aru is a tourism spot because there are many hotels and apartments along the beach. I went there yesterday night to have my dinner but it turns out there were not many varieties to choose from. I ordered an orange juice and when the drink came, I was so shocked at the size of the drinks they gave me. LOL. As for my meal, I ended up eating at this Malay stall and I ordered Nasi Goreng Ikan Masin. The nasi goreng sucks and I ordered few sticks of satay and some chicken wings also. Somehow the satay tastes weird and I don't like it either. Later on the chicken wings came and turns out that it tastes better than we expected. Basically you can only try the drinks at this food court but definitely not the food.

I am supposed to study my Manufacturing Technology subject today but nothing went in. It took me half a day to study 3 pages of notes. Amazing right? Why am I getting lazier nowadays? I'm quite sure I will ruin my future if this is going to continue till the end of the semester. Sigh...Can anyone give me some words of inspiration? I don’t want to study anymore!!!!!!! Besides that, it has been raining the whole day and that really makes me feel sleepy and moody. Therefore I took a few minutes to webcam with my girlfriend and few minutes to post this blog. Guess what. She was having her dinner and I couldn't resist the temptation to take her photo. Lol. She didn’t realize this yet but I guess she will find out this post soon. Time really passes very fast as I have been with her for 2 and a half years. No doubt I still love her very much even though we are having this long distance relationship. I think I need someone to force me to study or else I will pass with “FLYING COLORS” in all my midterms.

How do we define holidays? I thought during holidays we are supposed to be free from assignments and revisions. I'm having a week of semester break now but I have lots of assignments and revisions need to be done. I will be having 3 mid term exams right after the break and I still didn't do any revisions yet. As you can see from the blog, I have been enjoying my life to the fullest this semester. In fact, I just got back from outing. I was invited to my course mate's house to have steamboat. Although I didn't eat much but at least I spent some time to keep in touch with some of them. I wish the time will pass slower during the holidays but somehow I feel that it actually passes faster than I thought. I don't know why the mood to study is still not here yet even though I have already started to feel guilty and sorry. I shouldn't waste my time anymore and I must force myself to study no matter how much I hate it also. STUDY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was whole day out again and this time it was junior and senior day which was organized by the seniors. Time passes so fast until I only realized that I am a senior now, Third year senior. Finally I have to admit that I’m no longer that young anymore. LOL. I went to Mamutik and Manukan Islands on a day trip and honestly it turns out quite fun. Well done and good job to the organizing committee members. Unexpectedly, there were around 80 of us who went for this trip. Some of my friends who are not from Mechanical course tagged along also. As usual I went there just for snorkeling and this time I have to bring my friend out for snorkeling because some of them couldn't swim. It was very fun and yet very tiring also. We even caught starfish and played with the sea cucumber. Haha. I know it sounds disgusting but it was fun especially when I brought them so far out from the seaside. There were so many sea urchins and due to low tide, the sea urchins were so close to us. It was quite scary as my friend couldn't swim and I had to pull her across them. It was so tiring. I think I will bring my girlfriend there also and the sea was pretty clean and clear. You can also bring bread to feed the fish in the sea and the fishes will not hesitate to come over and bite you. Trust me.. Haha LOL.

I went to this shop called Simple Chocolate and they have this chocolate fondue buffet. The shop is in 1 Borneo and the exact location is quite confusing. It is located behind Wagamama and the price for the fondue really caught my attention. It is only RM9.90 for this delicious chocolate fondue and I will definitely bring my girlfriend to try this. She likes chocolate very much and I really can't wait to bring her there. There have various types of biscuits, fruits and cakes for you to dip with chocolate. I went there with my course mates just now and I think the chocolate was too sweet. I think I shouldn't give any comments here because I don't really like chocolate. LOL.

Amosphere

Amosphere is a bar or lounge you should go when you come to Kota Kinabalu. I was invited to this place by my housemates yesterday and the environment was so romantic and nice. Amosphere is located at Menara Tun Mustapha and it is at the 18th floor. They claimed that you can see the whole city in the Atmosphere but I highly doubt that. The drinks as in beer, hard liquor or cocktail are relatively cheap compare to other place but it must be after 9pm. I ordered a Margarita and it only cost me about RM14.50. The specialty of this lounge is the 18th floor which is the highest floor will rotate 360 degrees at 9pm until 10pm. Didn’t it sound interesting? This place will definitely in my list of places to go when my girlfriend comes over. Spend few hours to visit this place if you are at Kota Kinabalu. It is worth visiting.

Food Poisioning

The schedule was quite hectic for the past few days and that was why I did not update my post. First of all, I got food poisoning few days ago and that was really very terrible. I stayed up late at night just to go in and out from the toilet. If I’m not mistaken, I vomited 6 times in 5 hours time and the worst part was I have to go to school the next day because I have lab. I tried to go to class in the morning but ended up in the clinic. My friend took me to the clinic and came back to rest and skipped my lab. I got high fever (40 degree Celsius) in that afternoon itself and I felt so sick on that day. Basically I felt like dying and I don’t wish this scenario to happen again. Therefore we must eat well and stay well. An apple a day keeps the doctor away. LOL

S&S Stress and Stupid

Mid term exam is just right after the break but that doesn't apply to my Mechanic Design course. My professor planned to do it before the holidays. I think i will flunk my mid term this time because I really don't understand the questions at all. As I mentioned in earlier post, his language and handwriting are too EASY to understand. I really hope he will give us another mid term and choose the best out of the 2 mid terms. I don't know how about others in this mid term but I quite sure I’m going to flunk this time. Of course I was a bit upset but what else can I do? I don't know what happened to me also, I did do revisions but when comes to exam; the questions looked like aliens to me. God damn it. I think I just have to accept the fact that I’m stupid. Stupid enough to do revisions and yet couldn't answer the questions. Yeah... Stupid

Air Cooler

It is like a sauna room to me!!!!!! Yes, I mean my room. It is so hot until I just have to sit in my room for half an hour and my shorts is all wet. No dirty thoughts here k. Therefore I am planning to get air cooler for myself but I’m afraid that it doesn't help much. It is pointless to get an air cooler if it doesn't cool down my room and it is not cheap also. Anyone have any suggestion on how to cool down my room and ME. Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm going to be roasted soon if my room is still so hot. Maybe some of you must be thinking why I don’t get air-conditioning instead of air cooler. I don't think the house owner will want to pay for the air-conditioning and the electricity bill will be more expensive. Definitely it will be an issue to someone but I don't give a damn at all.

Our University has decided not to close after all because there will be a week of break on 17th of August. There are 4 students who got infected with H1N1 and most of us are not feeling well too. Most of them have sore throat, flu and fever but thank god I’m still very healthy. My parents have been bugging me not to go to school because they worried that I will get infected as well. I wish I could do that but mid-term exam is just around the corner and because I don't know what I have learnt since the first week, I have to put in extra efforts in my studies. Therefore i can't afford to skip any class.

As usual, there was manufacturing lecture this morning and it was 3 hour class but usually the class will dismiss earlier. For the past few weeks, i have been learning nothing but listening to all his lame jokes. However today's joke was the best as he tried to ask us what is the motto for Sony. None of us answered his question because eventually he will tell us himself. All this while he has been answering his own questions and finally he throwed a question to one of my course mates. He asked what is your MOTTO and my friend thought he was asking what MOTOR he is riding. With full of confidence, he said i ride HONDA. Everyone of us burst into laughter and of course the lecturer was a bit shocked and didn't know what response he should give to such a student. What a good pick up line.Then he asked the student sitting next to the previous student and without fail he said i have no MOTOR. OMG. I'm so proud to have such course mates. LOL..

Latest news, there is a new student get infected with H1N1 so all together there are 4 students in my school. The current one is from Chemical Engineering third year student. As you know, I have been staying with my best friend from chemical and he needs to go for body check up tomorrow. This student has approached many of his course mates and the class was conducted in BT 26 and 27 in the morning. I have a lecture in this class in the afternoon but I didn’t go to the class due to my laziness. Lol. Ironically my laziness saves my ass as I don't need to go for check up tomorrow. All the best for those who are going for check up tomorrow.

Finally I got the new internet line and all this while the internet connection was very bad. Thanks to those idiots who download and streamed for movies. The best thing was during house meeting, everyone has been told not to stream and download movies. You can only do that AFTER 12am. If you don't understand the meaning AFTER 12 then go back to kindergarten again. I'm not being sarcastic or rude but I really don't understand why such a simple statement also couldn't follow. If you think the connection is bad then get your own broadband. I don't mean to hurt anyone of your feelings but honestly, get your own broadband and stream as much as you like. Staying together is about tolerance. If you want everything to work out as you like then I really have nothing to say but just to pity and feel sad for you. I bet every one of us faced this bad connection before and we find the solutions instead of COMPLAINING. That should be the way to work things out. I have no intention to hurt anyone of your feelings but if you think I’m talking about you then yes, you are the one.

I was complaining that the weather is too hot yesterday in the blog and today it rained so heavily in the morning. There was a lecture (Methodology) at 8am and it started to rain during the lesson. It rained so heavily and the lecture hall was leaking. Rain drops started to dripped in. Everyone was laughing because they didn’t expect that to happen especially during the class. In the class, we were taught to do research and find problems in real life and we were asked to give example of the problems. The class ended earlier and we have to go to our school to attend our Statistic tutorial. In UMS, the lecture halls are separated from the schools. The problem was it rained very heavily and my car was parked at the other side of the lecture hall. My friend sacrifices himself to get his car and volunteered to fetch us to our cars. Anyway we still get wet and when I say wet, it was very wet. My shirt and jeans were all WET. When we reached our school, we have to run under the rain again and we went to the tutorial class with wet shirt and jeans. Wth.... Today is just not my day and I don't dare to complain the weather is too hot anymore after what had happened today. God really exists because HE responded my previous blog. Thank you Lord. Lol

Recently the weather over here is extremely hot and for your knowledge, my room doesn't have air-conditioning and I have been relying on my stand fan only. The room is so hot and stuffy especially in the afternoon even though I open the window and door. Besides that, I have been very hot-tempered due to the weather. That is why I miss my room in Ipoh where I can sleep till late afternoon without realizing the actual time. This is so fun!!!!!!!!! Anyway I have something very funny to share with you here. The following picture review the creativity of my housemate and this is what happen when the weather is too hot. I was totally speechless when I saw what she did. Lol.

I found myself getting very lazy beginning of this semester. Most of my lecturers are not that good this time and syllabus are getting tougher. I have given up on graduating with first class but of course to maintain in second upper class is a must. Sigh... I am very afraid that I will do badly this semester because so far i still can't cope with most of the subjects especially statistic and mechanic design. Both lecturers are pretty well experience except the statistic's lecturer (Mr. Chua). Both of them have the similarities as they expect us to know everything. How am I going to sit for the final if things are going to be the same? Sometimes they really make me feel damn annoyed because they are so ignorance. They don't have the heart to teach us at all and I couldn't understand why they want to become lecturers. Mr. Chua, please make some effort to explain the tutorial questions because I don't understand what you were explaining in the class. Don't talk to the wall k.

God damn it!!!!!!!! I have already paid RM500 for the 1 Fitness gyms and now they got promotion for UMS students. If you join under this package, you will only need to pay Rm70 for the registration fees and RM65 for every month. It is half of what I had paid. Anyway they are restricted to certain time only. They can only come at 10 am till 5pm during the weekdays and anytime for the weekend. Thank god my classes end quite late and my schedule is not fixed yet. It can change from time to time and I don't think I will take that package also. It is not that worth it for my case. I prefer to go to gym in the late evening especially after all the classes. Anyway I managed to persuade my housemates to join the gym using this package. LOL .

I just bought an original DVD of Michael Jackson Live in Bucharest: The Dangerous Tour. I love his concert so much because there is something you can get from other singer. He really put all his heart and soul into his concert and no matter how often I watch the DVD, I won't get bored. Somehow after I watched his concert in DVD, I felt so inspired and motivated. His dancing moves and voice are so amazing and I really like it so much. You will always be remembered in our heart Michael.

There will be management and accounting class this Saturday at 8am. What is wrong with him? We are your students and you as our lecturer should follow the actual schedule. How sure are you that we will be free for you? You didn’t even let us know when you cancelled the class. Now, you just put up a memo in the faculty and tell us there will be class this Saturday. There are so many assignments waiting for us to finish and yet you just fix this Saturday for the class without discussing with us. Bloody asshole. You don't deserve our respect and of course don't expect me to turn up in your class this Saturday. Go and fuck yourself.
